The Making Of Thrice’s Beggars, Pt. 1

I, amongst select others here at the Synthesis laboratory, are super stoked on Thrice’s upcoming release entitled Beggars. Besides the fact I think Thrice consistently puts out very creative and compelling works, they’ve been updating their studio journal like crazy over the last couple of months, which has a crazy way of drawing you into the project possibly farther than you normally would be. Considering that their last effort, The Alchemy Index, was amazing, I’m really excited for this.

The album will be out October 13th, with the single ‘All The World Is Mad’ being released via Guitar Hero on July 23rd.

Hello people, It’s Riley.

We’re home from our first stint on Warped Tour, enjoying a little summer vacation, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newest addition to the Thrice family (Teppei and his wife are expecting their second child any day now), and starting with this post, we’re beginning the process of giving you bits of information/music to hold you over until “Beggars” comes out.

I’m proud to announce that it’s officially “hurry up and wait” time. We have a release date. We have cover art. We’re really close to finishing the packaging and artwork. And in the months leading up to October 13th, we’ll be sharing four videos with short interviews from each of us, talking about the writing of “Beggars”.

I guess I’m batting leadoff in this lineup. Enjoy.
