Peter Jackson to Return to the Shire

Peter Jackson and New Line Cinema have worked out their differences, and the two will team up once again to bring the fantasy world of JRR Tolkien to the silver screen and make ridiculous amounts of money. Jackson (along with wife Fran Walsh) has signed on as executive producer to the big screen adaptation of The Hobbit. After Forever Make Maiden Voyage to North America

I never played V:tM or anything, but when no one’s looking, I like listen to female-fronted Euro prog/goth metal. I’m not sure if I really like it, but I like to listen to it. Maybe it’s all the pomp and circumstance, or the beautiful women in corsets, or because when I was in high school, I used to read Tolkien and Anne Rice novels in the library instead of eating lunch in the cafeteria.
This is getting embarrassing.

I thought since my first entry reached so many folks that I would try to cobble out a feeble mission statement to help better explain why this column exists, as well as using it as an opportunity to distract readers from their busy workday.
