(Bored Obama photo by Scout Tufankjian)
Maybe Obama has heard the snickering coming from our office: “shit sucks, work sucks, jobs suck, time to start on that Master’s…”
From USA TODAY:
President Obama has announced the formation of a new website, http://www.opportunity.gov, which will help unemployed Americans pursue educational opportunities. Jill Biden, the wife of Vice President Biden and a community college professor, will take a lead in this effort, Obama says. The president also is asking each American to commit to one year of some sort of education after high school.

Tattoo of The Day: Sweet Ass Unicorn

Yes, watching bands at SXSW is certainly the highlight for me, but people watching is almost as badass. At the Paste Magazine party, shortly before M. Ward’s set,I spotted a gal with a seriously badass unicorn tattoo.
The gal who belongs to that arm thought I was making fun of her when I asked to take a photo, but I’m seriously into this. Former Synthesister Brittany Unicorn would agree on its degree of badassness.

Man, this is the kind of story that makes me wanna hitchhike instead of taking the bus… Vince Weiguang Li, accused of decapitating a passenger named Tim McLean on a Greyhound bus in Manitoba, Canada on Wednesday, made his first appearance in court today.
From The Sun:

Witnesses say Li stabbed him repeatedly before slicing off his head and calmly dropping it at the feet of his fellow passengers.
Li is then said to have began cutting up his victim’s body using [...]
Dick Cheney’s Stunna-nunna-nunnas: Naked Woman in His Sunglasses? Not freaking likely.

I know you’ve been waiting on baited breath for Synthesis to chime in on the latest blog craze: “Is There A Naked Woman Reflected in VP Cheney’s Sun Glasses??? OMG!!!”
I’m no stranger to conspiracy theories (I even subscribe to a few myself), but let’s weigh the likelihood of the naked-lady-in-the-glasses theory in like this. Here’s what would need to happen:
1. Dick Cheney, hanging with a naked woman.
2. The hired photographer taking an official photograph of Cheney with a Naked Woman just hanging out by the side.
3. Secret security just hanging [...]

Photo of Barack Obama in Traditional Somali Garb Forces Voters Who Didn’t Care To Care Even Less

A photo, supposedly leaked this weekend by Hillary Clinton campaign staffers, showing Barack Obama dressed in a piss poor Oompa Loompa costume is stirring heated debate by exactly no one outside of television pundits, political bloggers, and every one else who is making money off prolonging the drama of the presidential primaries to the point where even most partisans are switching the channel to FUSE to watch the new Paramore video and logging off of Dailykos in favor of icanhazcheezburger.com. Seriously, can someone win already?
