Treasure Island 2009 Announced

Treasure Island 2009 was announced at some point recently, and the line-up looks sick. I’m not quite the biggest indie kid round these parts, but it’s worth the price tag alone to go check out The Flaming Lips on Sunday.
On the other side of things, the electro-pop artists are bad ass, as they’ve got chart toppers MGMT, Girl Talk and a slew of other noticeables. $65 is a bit much in this economy, but hell, what’s more American than running up a huge credit card bill you [...]

The Pharcyde To Reunite For Rock The Bells Tour 2008

The boys of The Pharcyde will be hitting up the stage @ Rock The Bells Tour 2008, marking a rather unexpected reunion. For the first time in 10 years all the original members will be performing together…

Best known for their 1992 hit “Passin’ Me By” off of Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, the alt.rap stars haven’t released anything together since their 2004 release Humboldt Beginnings, which featured only Imani and Bootie Brown. Fatlip left the group after reported drug problems around 1996, and SlimKid3 followed around 2002 (although his departure [...]
