Opening Weekend of The Who’s Tommy at the Blue Room, Chico CA

Last Thursday marked the premier of The Who’s Tommy in Chico, CA. Staged in the 100-seat Blue Room Theatre (which back in its day provided space for rock concerts including The Dismemberment Plan, Karate and The Makeup and other 90s independent rock luminaries) the production had a decent opening weekend — as a member of the production, I qualify “decent” as not falling flat on our faces…actually, it was pretty good.
