Joe Satriani Sues Coldplay
Posted on 05. Dec, 2008 by Dallas VonKillbot in Blog
Joe Satriani recently popped up on Goggle’s Hot Trends today, which is exciting news in itsself (if you don’t know who he is, hit yourself multiple times in the face and click the link above). It turns out that Satch is suing Coldplay because of the distinct rip-off job they did on one of their songs. There’s no questioning which one of the acts are the better group of musicians (go listen to Satriani’s Surfing with the Alien for proof), but the question now is who’s going to win the [...]
Subway: Knife Sandos?
Posted on 17. Jul, 2008 by alisse in Blog, Consumption, Crime, Food Bites
A man in New York filed a lawsuit after finding a knife with a 7-inch blade baked into the bread of his “Cold Cut Trio” foot-long Subway sandwich.
Joe Agnesini, 26-years-old, said he had eaten some of the sandwich when saw the knife sticking out. He is seeking $1 million from the chain restaurant. And I just ate Subway yesterday, great. Hopefully this is just another finger-in-the-chili incident because where else would I buy ridiculously cheap sandwiches?
U-God Is Scurred

I love Wu-Tang. Who in their right mind would mess with them? Original Wu-Tang member U-God did and now he is scared for his life. U-God filed a $180,000 lawsuit against his former group earlier this year. He recently filed a police report because he realized multiple vehicles have been suspiciously following him to and from his home in Jersey City.
All the cars following him have plates from different states and have been following him for quite some time. One incident occurred after U-God parked in a garage. He walked [...]
Family Files Lawsuit Two Years After 12-Year-Old Crippled By Line Drive
Posted on 19. May, 2008 by some guy in Sports
A couple years back a 12-year-old kid got hit just above the heart on the mound with a line drive in a rec league baseball game. The boy’s heart stopped beating and his brain was deprived of oxygen for over 15 minutes, resulting in disastrous bodily harm. Two years later, the family of the wounded child is now suing the bat manufacturer (Hillerich & Bradsby Co., maker of the 31 inch, 19 ounce aluminum Louisville Slugger), Little League Baseball for sanctioning the bat (even though it wasn’t a Little League [...]
J.K. Rowling Battles Fan in Court
Posted on 14. Apr, 2008 by James in Crime
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling may have created the most lovable fantasy characters since The Fraggles (well, I thought they were lovable anyway), but DO NOT FUCK WITH HER. Rowling testified today in a New York City court against a fan who she said committed “wholesale theft” of her intellectual — and extremely profitable — property.
“Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling said that Stephen Vander Ark, the author of the Lexicon fan site and a companion book, had, in a way that was “lazy” and “sloppy,” taken from her creations. [...]
50 cent sued by a 14 year old for promoting Gangsta life
Posted on 09. Apr, 2008 by Fletch in Comedy, Crime, Idiocy, Music
Basically a 14 year old boy got his ass beat by some kids who listened to fifty cent. Now he’s suing 50, Universal and anyone who looks at him wrong. Dude I feel the same way. One time I was going for a jog and 50 cent came on and for some reason I had an urge to stab someone. Eventually the song ended and I was not able to find a sharp enough knife, but what if I did? I hate you 50!!!!

Airborne Doesn’t Work: I Fucking Knew It
Posted on 04. Mar, 2008 by some guy in Blog, Idiocy
The “cold prevention” product Airborne has been shown to use false advertising due to a gross lack of supporting research. Basically it’s nothing more than a run-of-the-mill vitamin, and now they’re paying out 23 million plus in a class action lawsuit. What a bunch of bullshit. “Invented by a teacher.” Yeah, so it must be legitimate, because a teacher would never mislead anyone. I feel bad for my grandparents, who always bought it for me when I was home in the hope that it would make me feel better if [...]
Romantics Sue Guitar Hero
Posted on 22. Nov, 2007 by Bill in Lifestyle, Music
The Romantics, that 80’s band that most people probably either don’t remember or never knew have filed a federal lawsuit against Activision becuase of a “soundalike recording of its 1980 hit What I Like About You on Guitar Hero,”
The song is one of about 30 songs featured on “Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the ’80s.” The band also is seeking an injunction that could take the best-selling game off store shelves – which would be both completely lame and a crime against humanity.
Here’s the part that doesn’t make too much [...]
