It took me about 5 or 6 episodes of watching Conchords to realize if it was funny or not, but when I hit the David Bowie episode I was immediately sold. Besides The Office and Always Sunny in Philly, this has to be one of the best scripted shows on TV. The only thing that’s kind of a downer is that it’s on HBO, which I’m too poor to afford at the current moment.

Entourage has partnered with Richard Branson of Virgin America and are taking over domestic flights. Entourage Air will offer flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to Las Vegas. When the Vegas-bound flights take off, there will be some product placement and a premiere of Entourage’s fifth season.

Flight of the Conchords, “Ladies of the World” Premeire

One of them was an extra on the Lord of the Rings. The other one looks like an ogre librarian. Together they are Flight of the Conchords, and they leave Tenacious D quaking in their boots. Here’s the premeire of their video for “Ladies of the World,” available on Sub Pop records.
HBO Storms the Internets

On Monday, HBO announced that it will start an online downloading service dubbed HBO on Broadband. The new service will launch on Tuesday for Time-Warner Cable high-speed Internet subscribers in Green Bay and Milwaukee, WI. According to HBO spokesperson Jeff Cusson, the service will be a free add-on for subscribers, working in much the same way as HBO on Demand. From Forbes.com:
