Some pretty heinous shit right there. The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) police shoot a man who is lying on the ground and try to cover it up, resulting in riots in Oakland. Happy New year folks! The combination of abuse of power and racism resulted in the death of Oscar Grant and folks are PISSED. Some good folks are getting together to raise some money for his family to cover burial costs.
