Even thought they were trounced in the great ShredDown of 2006, The Decemberists are coming back to the Colbert Report with their overly-literate tails between their legs (eat it lit majors!)

Contrary to my dream last night, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was not recently fired from her position for not disclosing that she was, indeed, a Hermaphrodite. One thing’s for certain: I really should stop listening to BBC World Service while I’m trying to fall asleep. The Aqua Teen Hunger Force episodes probably didn’t help either. I mean, really, when do they?

Man, this is the kind of story that makes me wanna hitchhike instead of taking the bus… Vince Weiguang Li, accused of decapitating a passenger named Tim McLean on a Greyhound bus in Manitoba, Canada on Wednesday, made his first appearance in court today.

Reports say Li’s victim is Tim McLean – a 22-year-old carnival worker.
Witnesses say Li stabbed him repeatedly before slicing off his head and calmly dropping it at the feet of his fellow passengers.
