Armed for Apocalypse Signs to Ironclad

Fresh off a headlining gig at SF Gay Pride Festival last weekend, Chico’s own Armed For Apocalypse have officially inked a deal with Ironclad / Metal Blade records. Their debut album, DEFEAT, which coincidentally happens to be the heaviest album in the history of mankind, drops September 15th.

The Freeze. In Chico. All the way from Massachusetts, these guys were a big part of the Boston hardcore scene in the ‘80s and have been around since 1978. While associated with the hardcore scene, their music has always had more of a melodic approach than counterparts.
