Put another gimp on the barbie! Australian popcore band Sick Puppies has churned out its third insipid full-length CD. The music style resembles Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park—though it manages to make both bands seem better by comparison. The only positive thing about this band is how much fun it is to hate. Sick Puppies are sponsored by Samsung and are signed to Virgin; the song “You’re Going Down†has been used on a pro wrestling soundtrack, probably for poetic lyrics such as “Don’t cry like a bitch when you feel the pain!†It’s typical for a bunch of corporations to get behind the most idiotic, regurgitated mainstream band they can find. If you like eating vomit, Sick Puppies is the band for you. At the risk of redundancy, Tri-Polar is stupid, stupid, stupid!
