Rush Limbaugh Is A Jerk

When I woke up the morning after the elections were over, the first thing I did when I got to work was hit the web in search of responses from the two biggest anti-left personalities: Bill O’Reilly & Rush Limbaugh. Through the last 3 months or so, I’ve seen a distinct yet subtle difference in their approaches towards demeaning President Obama. O’Reilly, even as a pompous ass who has the habit of never letting an opponent speak a full thought before attacking a part of their statement, isn’t a narcissist, just someone who is extremely committed to his views and won’t budge for the life of him. I’m pretty sure there’s a place in his heart that would welcome decisions made by our Commander in Chief if they aligned with his set of standards. Fair enough, right?

The other man in question is our pill popping friend Mr. Limbaugh. Rush has what I can only call an extremely hateful soul that is bent on the destruction of the left rather that some greater vision for the two opposites to find something that works for the entire country. To be frank, Rush Limbaugh is the metaphorical Hitler in this situation, his populous of Faux Fox News brainwashed drones are the remainder of the Third Reich, and you can probably guess who’s weaning the Star of David.

I bring this up because of a set of statements said by Mr. Limbaugh during his propaganda speech radio show.

“I think [Obama] wants me to fail,” Limbaugh said. “He’s more frightened of me than he is of John Boehner, which doesn’t say much for our party.”

The remarks came after Limbaugh said last week on his radio show: “If I wanted Obama to succeed, I’d be happy the Republicans have laid down. I don’t want this to work. So I’m thinking of replying to this guy, say ‘okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails’.”

Unfortunately, some Democrats still have this notion that petitioning is the best way to approach situations that need to be addressed.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched an online petition to express outrage at conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh for saying he wanted President Obama to “fail.”

“Jobs, health care, our place in the world — the stakes for our nation are high and every American needs President Obama to succeed,” the petition reads. “Stand strong against Rush Limbaugh’s Attacks — sign our petition, telling Rush what you think of his attacks on President Obama.”

So what does this all mean?  It means we have to sit around watching the battle between the army of uneducated, Evangelical morons on the right battle a slew of ineffective petitioners on the left. Sounds like a party, doesn’t it
