Last time we checked in with the elusive Ronnie Radke, Tiger Beat cover boy and former frontman for shithead rock band Escape the Fate, he was on the lamb, wanted for Battery in connection with an altercation that claimed the life of 18-year old Michael Cook. However, it seems Mr. Radke could only escape his fate for so long, and today he was sentenced to four years in jail. Somewhere, a fat teenage girl’s make-up is running down her face…

I have just a few things to say on this post:
the first thing is, why does everyone have to swear and verbally attack people because they have a different opinion on things? Sure, not everyone likes his music, and sure not everyone likes emos, (believe me, I’m one) but does that mean we can swear and stereotype people? (And by the way, whoever said that emos are fat is completely wrong. Every emo I’ve seen has been slim)
the second is, what is he actually in jail for? I know that he was on the scene of someone shooting someone, possibly as a result of a fight, but why is he in jail?

First of all, I think that a lot of the posters on here who are saying Ronnie was completely at fault need to get their facts straight. Second of all, I really think that people like Anonymous Poster #4 really need to stop playing God and judging people. People like you really have no grasp on what people like us have been through. And just by the way, making a incredible general and offensive statement like, “All emo girls are fat and ugly” is horrible. I don’t know why you’d feel the need to do that, and just by the way, it’s not exactly accurate. Anyway, music that you may not enjoy can do amazing things for other people. Personally, I love Escape The Fate, and they’ve helped me through some hard times. Just because you couldn’t relate to the music in the same way, it doesn’t mean that you need to put down the people that it did help.
Anyway, to those of you who take the side that if you believe that Ronnie did deserve some consequence are just Max-lovers, I don’t think that’s entirely fair. I think that Ronnie made some mistakes, and maybe having the time to get clean and sort things out was beneficial in some ways. It sounds like he at least had a lot of time to write. But blaming it all on Max is pretty harsh. He wasn’t there that night, and from what it sounded like, he really wasn’t even a part of it. Personally, I really do love both Ronnie and Max, and I wish that they were back together like they used to be. I’m sad that Ronnie’s been replaced, because he really was one-of-a-kind, but times changed so things moved on. He’s a strong person and he’s doing fine for himself right now, I think. A lot of people are inspired by that, and to those who are, just ignore the people (like the ones on this thread) who try to put you down for it.

Craig has better screams but Ronnie’s voice was the heart and soul of Escape The Fate. And I do have a boyfriend. He is an amazing one, too. Unfortunately you both have the same name. I do care about the family, but the brother had no reason to kill himself. Yeah, his brother died but he had family, and friends and people that cared about him. Ronnie didn’t deserve what he got. Not at all. He was defending himself and was punished for it. That wasn’t right.

Hello! It’s nice to meet you. When i heard ronnie had killed someone i was like :O Who’s ronnie… Then i thought “It must be the lead singer from Escape The Fate” because i clicked on their video to see what they were like. I don’t like them, but reading somethings here. He killed someone, and fangirls are saying he shouldn’t be in jail. If he didn’t deserve jail then he wouldn’t be in jail would he? Oh and the girls who do have grammar issues. I don’t even understand what you’re saying so please learn to spell and speak english. If not you will classed as social retards.
Ronnie didn’t kill anyone. The only reason he was in jail was because of the fighting between him and Max Green got physical and Ronnie got charged with battery.

I don’t quite enjoy getting into cyber fights but this one really got on my nerves. To, “I Rock” you obviously need to get your facts straight. Ronnie Radke did not not kill Michael. His friend did, then after words, his friend killed himself. Michael wanted to fight Max Green, during the time, Max and Ronnie were friends, so Ronnie stood up for Max and went to fight him. He brought 2 friends. Michael brought 12. The fight was 12 against 3. Yes, things did end up getting out of hand and the fight led to 2 deaths (michael and the person who shot him). I love Escape The Fates music, and I love Ronnie Radke’s talent. I do agree that Ronnie fucked up quiet a lot and got what he deserved, however the band isn’t the same with out him and i truly wish when he gets out of jail the could reunite and put both bands back together. I highly doubt that will happen though. Also, on another note, not all scene/emo/goth girls are fat, and some do have emotional problems, but not all have bad grammar. Yes, I am a teenager but hopefully that wont preclude me from making my point.

Ronnie is awesome, his work in ETF was awesome, im a mahor fan, but we really dont know what actually happened. as much as i hate to say it, he was in a fight, so no one can say he didnt hurt anyone, but theres no doubt in my mind that he didnt shoot anyone
Wew u people. I love ronnie, i’m sixteen and i weight 45 kg. Craig is great, but not kickass as ronnie. I don’t know a fuckin thing which happened at the fight, but i do know that if it’s something important and worth fighting for, then i trust ronnie. But he should stay outta trouble if he wants to stay and grow more success in the band. He’s brave and bold, but too brave. Screw michael. I hope ronnie will rock again soon.

Ronnie is awesome. He fits in ETF, so everyone should just deal with that fact. He never really did anything in the first place. Someone else pulled the trigger. He only witnessed it. Yeah, he was on drugs, but he admitted that he had a problem. Max never did that until Ronnie told the world about max’s problem, so max had no choice but to admit to it. I had a lot of respect for ETF when Ronnie was still the frontman and that respect is entirely gone. Ronnie’s lyrics pulled me through alot of shit and ETF with Craig just sucks. Do you all know how much crap Craig talks about Ronnie? Seriously, Ronnie is amazing, so he shouldn’t be in prison when he didn’t really do anything. HANG IN THERE RONNIE! WE <3 YOU!!!
ha, im a big fan of ronnies, named my band after him. but for those who don’t know he’s got a new band FIR or Falling In Reverse. check them out on myspace, they’re loads better then ETF and theres a 54min long interveiw ronnie did on their page that he just did not long ago. hes written over 70 complete songs since hes been in. gotten a new tattoo and best of all, hes getting out real soon… december 15 09 at the lastest, he even says possibly sooner.

Jesus lol I’ve been quite a fan for a while, & only just found these blogs about ronnie. All I can say is LOL. Seriously, I’m a HUGE ronnie fan, I went through this massive “I hate max & craig” phase, but you gotta get over it. Ronnie made mistakes. He’s doing his time. He went to prison for breaking his probation, which is basically saying he couldn’t even stay straight if he had to. I think prisons the best place for him personally, at least he’s getting clean (hopefully) and thinking about what he’s done.
And seriously, all the verbal abuse that’s been flying around here? Dafuck? Why is every ronnie supporter a “fat scene girl” ? that’s just being deliberately hurtful & rude. Honestly I love Ronnie. He was a great guy and a great friend who did need help and jail probably was one of the best things that happened to him. He was heavily addicted to oxy and was eing a total shithead on stage when he could have done so much better. I myself had been addicted to hydrocodone and seroquel and i gotta tell you it’s not easy getting off of them. Ronnie will do great with his new band and I can’t wait to see the new him.

ok people, shut the hell up! Ronnie is freaking awesome and I know he didn’t shoot the kid FOR A FACT! HOW DO I KNOW THIS: Because I saw the whole freaking thing. It was the guy BESIDE Ronnie who shot the kid. I honestly don’t care about the other kid’s family, and I don’t pity them. I don’t just pity Ronnie because he’s famous either; i pity him because he’s saved my life a few times.(4 times to be exact.) So shut up if you don’t like Ronnie.
