To ring in 2007, GIANT-the world’s largest 21+ New Year’s Eve celebration-promises to be BIG by introducing GIANT MAXIMUS Sunday, December 31, 2006 from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am. Situated on a private seven-acre site near 8th Street and Figueroa in downtown Los Angeles (just three blocks from the Bonaventure Hotel), GIANT MAXIMUS will feature three adjoining big top heated mega-structures, creating an indoor capacity of 10,000 on one level.

The three constructions, each one strategically positioned for sound isolation, will feature custom stages for the biggest NYE line-up on this planet, including lengthy sets by the best in international DJ talent. In Ring One Sasha & John Digweed will team up for an eight-hour set with Jimmy Van M supporting, Holland’s finest–Ferry Corsten and Armin Van Buuren–will be in Ring Two and in Ring Three Sander Kleinenberg will perform his world-renowned DVDJ set. Jason Bentley, Boris M.D. (Departure), The Architects of Sound, John Do & Justin Gourley, Mark Tabberner and more will be on hand for the festivities.

The common courtyard between the mega-structures will feature GIANT’s famous giant Ferris wheel, massive bars, food concessions and an array of amusements. Discount hotel packages will be offered for the 2000+ deluxe rooms at four luxury hotels within three blocks of the event. Centered within the high rise Financial District of downtown Los Angeles with adjacent parking for over 5000 cars, the giant MAXIMUS New Year’s Eve Celebration will be convenient, covered and colossal.

VIP tickets are also available for $150 pre-sale and include a private entrance directly into the elevated MAXIMUS VIP Lounge overlooking Sasha & John Digweed’s stage, premium open bar all night, complimentary entrance to GIANT @ Vanguard with Steve Lawler on Saturday, December 30 and other perks to be announced.
