Facebook Says Sorry For Trying To Steal All Your Content, Info, and Photos Forever

Enough people apparently lost their shit over Facebook’s recent changes to their Terms of Service that said changes have been rescinded, for now at least. The following, as anyone whose not a moron has probably already noticed, is currently posted at the top of the Facebook homepage:

Over the past few days, we have received a lot of feedback about the new terms we posted two weeks ago. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous Terms of Use while we resolve the issues that people have raised. For more information, visit the

Translation: we’re gonna wait until all this shit blows over then find another way to word things. In the meantime, here’s some boring links that no one fucking cares about.

Now, if only we could get people to care about the actual Bill of Rights as much as they care about some stupid pictures and idiotic comments on their Facebook profiles maybe we wouldn’t be in such a heap of fucking shit as far as Civil Liberties go in this country, but hey, it’s a start I guess.
