Even Republicans Are Starting to Get Tired of Rush Limbaugh

So it seems that on the heels of his painfully moronic CPAC speech, Rush Limbaugh is drawing the ire of even Republicans. And not just any Republicans, but the head of the Republican National Committee, Michael Steele, who on D.L. Hughley’s CNN talk show, characterized Limbaugh as nothing more than”an entertainer. Rush limbaugh, his whole thing is entertainment. Yes he is incendiary. Yes, it’s ugly.” Of course, Rush, the entertainer that he is, wasn’t gonna take that shit lying down:

Yes, said Michael Steele, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, I’m incendiary, and yes, it’s ugly. Michael Steele, you are head of the RNC. You are not head of the Republican Party. Tens of millions of conservatives and Republicans have nothing to do with the RNC and right now they want nothing to do with it, and when you call them, asking them for money, they hang up on you. I hope that changes. I hope the RNC will get its act together…

It seems to me that it’s Michael Steele who is off to a shaky start….

Now, Mr. Steele, if it is your position as the chairman of the Republican National Committee that you want a left wing Democrat president and a left wing Democrat Congress to succeed in advancing their agenda, if it’s your position that you want President Obama and Speaker Pelosi and Senate leader Harry Reid to succeed with their massive spending and taxing and nationalization plans, I think you have some explaining to do.

Why are you running the Republican Party? Why do you claim you lead the Republican Party when you seem obsessed with seeing to it that President Obama succeeds? I frankly am stunned that the chairman of the Republican National Committee endorses such an agenda…

I don’t understand why you’re asking Republicans to donate to the Republican National Committee if their money is going to be spent furthering the agenda of Barack Obama? If we don’t want Obama and Reid and Pelosi to fail, then why does the RNC exist, Mr. Steele? Why are you even raising money?…

I’m not in charge of the Republican Party, and I don’t want to be. I would be embarrassed to say that I’m in charge of the Republican Party in a sad-sack state that it’s in. If I were chairman of the Republican Party, given the state that it’s in, I would quit. I might get out the hari-kari knife…

When you send those fundraising requests out, Mr. Steele, make sure you say, we — we — we want Obama to succeed. So people understand your compassion. Republicans, conservatives are sick and tired of being talked down to, sick and tired of being lectured to. And until you show some understanding and respect for who they are, you’re going to have a tough time rebuilding your party.

    Michael Steele???? Rush Limbaugh????
Lets take Michael Steele first. It’s blatantly obvious that he’s the token black leader for the GOP. And anyone with half a brain would see right through that bullshit. Remember Sarah Palin? Now Rush Limbaugh is the champion of all that fucked the republicans out of the white house and congress to begin with. They are dinosaurs and they know it. Let them blither on, while the rest of the country progresses towards a more just and equal society.

What a racist. A token black? I am a conservative that has followed Michael Steele for years. I follow his ideology not his blackness. Liberals are the biggest racists and hypocrits. What amazes me are that blacks are taken in by the liberal bullshit. If liberalism is the future then why are all liberal countries bankrupt? What a buffoon.

What I meant by token black is that it is more than coincidental that Steele, after 8 ballots becomes the RNC chair. The GOP is playing the race card, not me. The same play was used with Palin against Hillary. What do you mean “blacks were taken in”? Who’s the real racist here? The free ride that the elite have been getting for the past eight years is over. Suck it up.

Come on . . . what “elite” in a collective mass have been getting a free ride? I work extremely hard and so does my wife and we paid over $50k in taxes for 2007 in the bracket the Obama said is not paying it’s fair share. How much did the person earning $24k , 50K, or 75k pay?

That said, Rush is a big fat bloated ball of pus. He is irrelevant to the thinking man, only relevant to those who can’t construct an idea for themselves and that tend to be lead by their noses with no ability to lead themselves.

Rush wouldn’t know a real capitalist if he met one because like all the other so-called capitalists (in politics and in business) that we entrusted to guard our assets, Rush and the Republican politicians I used to support truly don’t know their ass from their face. If they were truly the sentinels and experts of capitalism that they proclaimed to be (going all the way back to the 80′s), they would have recognized with ease and tried with all their might to stop all the multitude of missteps that lead to the $10 trillion in capital losses we have today. They can blame it on the Democrats, who don’t know the ass/face difference either, but if the Republicans were smarter, they certainly did not execute to prove it.

In my profession there’s no room for excuses, only execution, either one secures the revenue or they don’t. The Republicans (and the Democrats) secured nothing and that’s the difference between me and them. I’m accountable and a contributing cog to capitalism, day in day out, on the road, in front of customers, sixty hours a week. Rush’s only contribution is to the overfed pig that loves only himself.

So are Republicans tired of Rush? This one has been for a while. I tossed him and the so-called conservatives leadership into the same pile of ineffectiveness and hot seafood garbage that the Democrats long held before. So wake up all you herds of right (and left) wing drones . . . think for yourselves. None of your words are your own.
