Cred Travels Overseas

When I was asked to work for 12 days all over Australia prefaced with four days in Hawaii I figured I should do it.  In the past three days I’ve experienced things I never thought I would.  Australia isn’t really that neat of a country, it’s not old or historic, it kind of feels like  Canada without french people and great weather.I’m here for the Soundwave Festival, a five show, 60 band traveling festival.  This year’s headliners are Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains and Lamb of God along with a ton of other bands.  The cool thing is everyone stays together and travels together so that means on any given day you might be on a flight with Trent Reznor or sitting in the hotel bar with Jerry Cantrell, it’s pretty cool.  And then you have random run ins with uber rich folks like Richard Branson who likes to act like a normal person and hang out at the Holiday Inn on Monday nights.  My only real complaint with Australia are their breakfast sausages, I just can’t bring myself to eat them.
