Chris Brown Totally Over That Whole Beating His Girlfriend Thing

By Stephanie McKinny

So, in case you missed last week’s New York Post, you also missed Chris Brown’s interview in which he let us all know that he’s totally over that whole Rihanna thing. Not only that, but he’s oh so sad about people “dissing” him, like his friends wanting nothing to do with him. He chalks it up to a little “mishap”. Here it goes:

“At the end of the day. If I walk around apologizing to everybody, I’m gonna look like a damn fool.”

(Because looking like a woman beater isn’t bad enough, right?)

“A handful of people stuck by me. [People] turn[ed] away. They don’t want to get involved with it because they don’t want their name attached to anything negative. Unknowingly, they kind of show their true colors when they do that.”

(Kind of how you showed your true colors when you decided to beat your girlfriend?)

“You can’t blame people for how they want to be portrayed or if they don’t want to be associated with somebody who had a particular mishap.”

(Ha… “mishap”)

“The last two years, everybody dissed me. But my fans were so dedicated. The way I look at it is, you can’t walk around mad, because then you just prove everybody right that you’re an angry person.”

And he knows a thing or two about anger.
