New Designer Coca Cola Bottles for Chinese Olympic Games

Ooooh! PRETTY! Look at those beautifully rendered designs, obscuring that brown sugary goodness!
Caffeinated for that little kick you’ve come to rely upon, decorated in the spirit of the Beijing games, these beautiful aluminum gems will surely be collector’s items (for pack rats with enviable storage units and nothing but time on their hands and opportunistic visions).
Eight Chinese artists (or graphic design teams) were paired up with eight on Ultra Records international musicians (Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Kaskade, Jes, Serge Devant, Lucas Prata, Cezar and Jay-J) to create these bottles. The themes [...]
Kung Fu Football: WAT
Posted on 21. Jul, 2008 by Dallas VonKillbot in Sports, Videos
ComBATON, essentially a twisted mix of poor kung-fu and football, had to have been created in a late night, somkey bong session. I imagine while watching old ESPN hilights, one couch potato said to the other, “Man, this would be so much better… WITH NINJAS!’.
Fast forward to me stumbling along ComBATON.com, the official website of the ’sport’. What kind of pisses me off is that this is now being taught in some schools (the clip below is from a FL school), which means that someone’s tax dollars are paying for [...]
New Chinese Ban

Chinese authorities have put a “secret” ban on black people. The authorities have requested that during the Olympic Games in Beijing next month, all bars surrounding the Games must deny service to black people and “other social undesirables.” The Public Security Bureau is requiring that service be denied to black people and Mongolians.
“Uniformed Public Security Bureau officers came into the bar recently and told me not to serve black people or Mongolians,†said the co-owner of a western-style bar, who asked not to be named.
The local authorities have been cracking [...]
Table Tennis, Seriously

Table Tennis needs to be taken seriously, according to Nike and Puma. The two companies have collaborated to make new products specifically for ping pong enthusiasts everywhere. Nike’s new shoe, the Sportswear Star Classic TT, are some hott kicks that are quilted and have a paddle rubber sole for the ultimate pong experience. Puma has made a paddle carrying case, part of the PT3 Ultramagnetic Collection. I guess if this doesn’t work out they can always market the items to hardcore beer pong-ers.
Home Run Derby Tonight
Posted on 14. Jul, 2008 by some guy in Sports
At 8 PM EST major league baseball’s annual Home Run Derby will take place at Yankee Stadium. This year’s field is made up of Lance Berkman, Ryan Braun, Grady Sizemore, Chase Utley, Josh Hamilton, Justin Morneau, Dan Uggla and Evan Longoria.
I’m gonna go with Lance Berkman from the NL to win it, with Josh Hamilton of the AL coming in second. Unfortunately, and rather ironically, there are no Yankees participating, no thanks to A-Rod. Check out Jayson Stark’s thoughts on that situation .
Corey Hart’s Daughter Gets A Beer Bath!

Baseball player Corey Hart was elected for an All-Star bid. During the press conference, Hart’s Milwaukee Brewers teammates couldn’t wait to congratulate him. Hart had his two-year-old daughter on his lap during the conference when his teammates ran into the room spraying beers all over them. His daughter was fine after getting a popsicle and forgetting all about it but now there is a major media backlash. Judge for yourself, here’s the video:
Brett Favre Wants Return, But Not With Packers
Posted on 11. Jul, 2008 by some guy in Sports
Green Bay and Brett Favre are synonymous. Favre, as everyone knows, “retired” this past March and has eluded to returning ever since. But now, Favre has decided to distance himself from those Green Bay synonymic ways, opting for a full release from the franchise. It’s hard to say where Favre will wind up playing, but somebody will sign him. 49ers? Probably not, but I’d take an old Brett Favre over Alex Smith any day of the week.
