Their shimmery sound has been crafted over the years under their former moniker, Bridges, and they now have a new name and new record to show off to the world. Currently the group is doing a 15 date tour down the West coast, which you should [...]

So of course I was stoked, and was even more stoked when I opened that fucker up and saw the "new" Christ Inversion record staring me in the face.

Synthesis has been long time fans of all things coming from the Ironworks label. Hell, whatever Kiefer Sutherland's involved with is a-okay with us. Especially da booze. We don't mess with Jack Bauer. That's why today we're taking fate into our own hands and voting the crap out of HoneyHoney for MTVu's top video. Here's their single, "Little Toy Gun", directed by Kiefer himself:

ABOUT:
David Powers may have earned his stripes with raw guitar virtuosity – he was one of 3 finalists in Guitar Player Magazine's “Guitar Hero 06' competition – but impressing the likes of Joe Satriani, Steve Lukather and other hardened, celebrity judges (all of whom praised David for his playing, tone, guitar choice and performance) was only the beginning. Powers is an epic [...]

Austin, Texas, twosome Yellow Fever had little control over the dwindling crowd at Nick's Night Club in Chico, California this week. The headliner had canceled, and the band was forced to bear the brunt of being a foreign act...in a foreign town...at a foreboding hour of the night.
With a simple setup of a drum kit, a keyboard atop it (manned by drummer/keyboardist Adam Jones) and a guitar and bass leaned lazily on a stand (to be plucked by vocalist/bassist/guitarist Jennifer Moore), the duo persevered and parlayed a slacker-rock Blitzkrieg that [...]

Black Sheep Wall is a band from L.A. somewhere that I stumbled upon over the weekend. They are a doomy/sludgey band, and their riffs are so heavy they will knock your dick in the dirt. It's dirty, grimey, sloppy, they tune to negative Z, and scream at the top of their lungs about 90% of the time - and it's bad fucking ass. The copy of the album I got contained a burned CD that was spray painted black....and that was it. No song names, no contact info, nothing. And [...]
