By the time you’re reading this, I’ll probably be fucking dead. No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to stop touching my eyes, mouth, and nose, not to mention my balls and my asscrack. I also can’t help but see a delicious slice of pizza and eat it without first washing my hands. I also keep drinking booze, and sleeping on the couch with the TV and otherwise failing to maintain a “healthy lifestyle.”

One of the big pushbacks currently being undertaken in the media in regards to the swine flu pandemic is the idea that those seeking to link it to factory farming methods and big agri-business are merely opportunists, that factory farms are in no way responsible for this outbreak. One of the neat things about editing the Syntheis Weekly is that I get a first-had crack at the action before the paper even hits the streets.
