The Mixtape About Nothing

Seinfeld is probably one of the best shows of all time, and it's about time that someone got around to dedicating an album to them.  It just so happens that I was floating around the internets today and stumbled upon Wale's 'The Mixtape About Nothing'.  Drawing upon inspiration  from the show and dropping in samples, the mixtape uses long running jokes as a starting off point for the tracks.

Personally, I think it's a great idea, but lyrically it doesn't always stick to the concepts applied from the original Seinfeld samples.  Maybe I'm reading into it a little too much, but all in all it's a sick album with some pretty decent hip hop.  Check it.
