Weezer: “Pork And Beans”

I just listened to Weezer's new single, "Pork and Beans," as it's streaming from their website. It certainly has a catchy chorus, reminiscent of the good old days, but the verse schemes and lyrics remind me of "Beverly Hills," which, in my opinion, was the worst Weezer single ever released. Far too many similarities to Avril Lavigne. I'll keep hope alive for the new record, but I don't know. They haven't put anything out worthwhile since the Green album. Fingers crossed...
