Eddie Murphy vs Boogie Nights

Two videos: The first, a scene from Boogie Nights showcasing the musical talents of Dirk Diggler and Reed Rothchild. The second, the Rick James/Eddie Murphy production, "Party All The Time." One was supposed to be a joke, one was not. If you've got an extra ten minutes or so, I would recommend contrasting and comparing.
