Jerry Seinfeld Okay After Weekend Car Crash

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld was involved in a single vehicle car crash this weekend in East Hampton after the brakes in his vintage 1967 Fiat BTM failed. The 53-year-old actor apparently swerved to avoid colliding with an intersection, and instead flipped his vehicle a few yards off of the highway.
Seinfeld appeared dazed, but uninjured, and was sent home right away. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be a factor at all, and the accident was blamed on mechanical failure.
As a testament to Seinfeld's wits being about him post-wreck, he was quoted as saying, "Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do."
